Course Objectives In first-aid cases, on the crime scene with environmental possibilities, to ensure that the students for the victim/injured to prevent the further deterioration of person’s health and to be able to do without medication administration in order to save a life.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to use the general first aid information.
  • will be able to evaluate the health and the crime scene where the accident or health problems occurred.
  • will be able to provide the basic life support to adults, children and infants.
  • will be able to apply the necessary first aid in the events such as the foreign body obstruction, bleeding and shock, cases requiring immediate care, injuries, fracture-dislocation, sprain, poisoning, bites and stings, burn-freezing-heat stroke, drowning.
  • will be able to explain the wounded transport techniques.
  • will be able to explain frequently encountered in civil aviation such as the health hazards and risks, work accident and occupational diseases, ergonomic risks, biological terrorism.
Course Description Within students of the vocational school, in department of Civil Aviation Cabin Services, Medical Issues and First Aid Training course; first aid regulations issued by the Ministry of Health and in accordance with the first aid training curriculum in gaining the knowledge and skills issues and frequently encountered health hazards and risks, work accidents and occupational diseases in civil aviation are located.
